An antique Persian tribal chanteh or personal pouch, attributed to the Luri or Bakhtiari tribes of Western Iran. The hand-knotted face features a deep madder red field with a stylized vertical geometric motif within a dark indigo border. The complete bag retains its reddish-brown flatwoven kilim reverse and an elaborate knotted lattice fringe network with multicolored wool tassels, likely late 19th to early 20th century.

- Condition
- Age-related wear with scattered pile loss, fading, minor edge wear and fraying to the knotted cords and tassels. Complete bag form retained. Please refer to photographs.
