A handwoven Persian tribal saddlebag face attributed to Qashqai or Luri weavers, late 19th to early 20th century. Deep red pile field with bold geometric, floral and talismanic motifs in purple, orange, green, blue and dark brown, with woven closure loops and tassels above and a striped flatwoven reverse.

Property from an important private collection, assembled by a dealer and collector over more than six decades.
Condition
