A carved wood ancestral spirit board attributed to the Sepik River region of Papua New Guinea, likely mid-20th century or earlier. The elongated panel is centered by a large stylized face with projecting nose, pierced openings, white-filled incised decoration and additional human and zoomorphic motifs.
