Two Persian Tribal Textile Pieces

A group of two antique Persian tribal textiles, including a complete miniature chanteh pouch attributed to the Shahsavan or Luri, and a narrow woven panel likely from a mafrash or khorjin attributed to Shahsavan or Jaff Kurdish weaving traditions. The pouch retains its plain flatwoven backing and opening, while the narrow panel is worked with paired geometric medallions in red, ivory, brown and dark blue tones.

- Provenance
- Property from an important private collection, assembled by a dealer and collector over more than six decades.
- Condition
- The chanteh is complete with expected surface wear and minor edge wear. The narrow panel is heavily worn with fraying, edge losses and loss of its original backing. Please refer to photographs.
