Korean Goryeo Celadon Bowl

A Korean celadon stoneware bowl attributed to the Goryeo Dynasty, of shallow rounded form with gently flaring sides and a small circular foot. Covered overall in a subdued gray-green celadon glaze, with visible wheel marks, fine surface crazing and characteristic variation in the glaze tone.
The restrained form and monochrome glaze are consistent with Goryeo-period celadon production. Attribution and dating are based on form, materials, glaze and construction; the piece has not been scientifically tested for age.

- Property from an important private collection, assembled by a dealer and collector over more than six decades.
- Condition
- Surface wear, glaze crazing, scattered firing imperfections and minor abrasions consistent with age. Please refer to photographs.
