A large carved wood nkisi nkondi power figure attributed to the Kongo peoples of the Democratic Republic of the Congo or Angola, mid-to-late 20th century. The standing male figure is densely embellished with iron nails and blades, horns, feathers, gourds and organic materials, with a central abdominal cavity containing a reflective element.

- Property from an important private collection, assembled by a dealer and collector over more than six decades.
- Condition
- Age-related wear, oxidation, abrasions and losses, with deterioration to organic attachments and surface variation throughout. Please refer to photographs.
