A large carved wood standing shrine figure, probably Igbo, southeastern Nigeria, with tall crested headdress, stylized facial features and deeply carved geometric decoration across the chest and torso. Heavy weathered surface with dark pigment, old encrustation and extensive age-related wear, consistent with long traditional use.
